What does Unable To Verify or Negative Mean for DataFlow Reports?
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">There are times in your life where it seems that </span><a href="https://www.trueprofile.io/member/resources/demotivation-overcome-mental-obstacles" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"><span style="font-weight: 400;">the world is against you</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400;">. You may be on your way to fulfilling a dream job overseas, but your </span><a href="https://www.trueprofile.io/member/resources/get-dataflow-four-easy-steps" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"><span style="font-weight: 400;">DataFlow verification</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400;"> came out Unable to Verify, or worse, <a href="https://www.trueprofile.io/member/resources/what-can-i-do-if-background-check-comes-back-negative" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Negative</a>. Most people would feel that this is a “major, major” setback; to quote a Filipino beauty queen. Don’t despair, though, as all is not lost.</span></p> <h2><span style="font-weight: 400;">What does it mean when my report says Unable To Verify?</span></h2> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">It simply means that our verification associates were not able to confirm the details of your document from the source. The source is the entity who created the document in the first place. If they can&#8217;t confirm all the details of the document, it is labeled as Unable To Verify. Take for example a recent case. Ms. X submitted her Certificate of Employment but the hospital who issued the document could not verify the authenticity of it. What happened was that the&nbsp;hospital’s records perished in a big fire. As a result, they are not able to confirm Ms. X’s employment records with them. She may have been employed there, but without concrete proof, the result is a document that we are unable to verify.</span></p> <h2><span style="font-weight: 400;">What is Negative Verification?</span></h2> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Negative verification means that the issuing authority, or the source, has contradicted all </span><b>or</b><span style="font-weight: 400;"> parts of your document details. It may also mean a license submitted to us for our verification has expired. Please note that it would be in your best interest to submit a license with at least a six-month validity. If your license is about to expire, please don’t chance it. </span></p> <h2><span style="font-weight: 400;">Negative verification</span></h2> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Sometimes, Issuing Authorities (the source of the document applicants submit) responds negatively on the authenticity of the document. Let’s say Mr. Y has submitted a license document to practice medicine. We reached out to the Issuing Authority and the authorized contact said that there is no license that was issued to a Mr. Y. They also said it in writing. That means that we found the document to be of a negative provenance.</span></p> <h2><span style="font-weight: 400;">You can file an appeal or lodge a new case</span></h2> <div class="wp-block-image wp-image-4770 size-full"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img decoding="async" loading="lazy" width="1024" height="759" src="https://production-prod-trueprofile-blogassets-origin.s3.ap-southeast-1.amazonaws.com/uploads/2021/03/pexels-photo-567635-1024x759.jpg" alt="unable verify negative dataflow" class="wp-image-9750" title="unable verify negative dataflow" srcset="https://production-prod-trueprofile-blogassets-origin.s3.ap-southeast-1.amazonaws.com/uploads/2021/03/pexels-photo-567635-1024x759.jpg 1024w, https://production-prod-trueprofile-blogassets-origin.s3.ap-southeast-1.amazonaws.com/uploads/2021/03/pexels-photo-567635-300x222.jpg 300w, https://production-prod-trueprofile-blogassets-origin.s3.ap-southeast-1.amazonaws.com/uploads/2021/03/pexels-photo-567635-768x569.jpg 768w, https://production-prod-trueprofile-blogassets-origin.s3.ap-southeast-1.amazonaws.com/uploads/2021/03/pexels-photo-567635-1200x890.jpg 1200w, https://production-prod-trueprofile-blogassets-origin.s3.ap-southeast-1.amazonaws.com/uploads/2021/03/pexels-photo-567635.jpg 1280w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption>There&#8217;s light at the end of the tunnel.</figcaption></figure></div> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">With DataFlow, we see both sides of the coin.
