<h2><b>Please tell us about yourself. Who is Ronnil Ravina?</b></h2>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">I was born in Masara Maco Compostela Valley Province where my father worked as a miner. I’ve got a beautiful wife, and a cute baby boy named Champ. I love interacting with people from different walks of life.</span></p>
<h2><b>What made you decide to go abroad?</b></h2>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">I wanted to hone my skills and to further my career. I believe that having an international working experience and being multi-lingual will give you an edge over others. You will also have a chance to understand different cultures, traditions, and languages as well. Aside from that, the pay is way better compared to being employed back home.</span></p>
<h2><b>Please tell us about your life as an OFW.</b></h2>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">I have been an OFW for 7 years now, and it’s really tough. It’s not an easy job. You have to learn to adjust and live with different kinds of people.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">You have to live with the fact that you are away from your loved ones. There are times when you will pause and think about your child growing up without his father. The times that he needs me and I’m not there to keep him company. There’s no turning back, though. I need to control those thoughts and get a hold of my emotions because I know that my sacrifice will have a big impact on the future of my family.</span></p>
<p>I just hope that when he grows up, he will understand what I gave up for him and why I was not around.</p>
<h2><b>What are your tips for others who also want to go abroad?</b></h2>
<p>– <span style="font-weight: 400;">Process all the necessary documents for abroad and it is better if you have them verified ahead of time.</span></p>
<p>– <span style="font-weight: 400;">Do research ahead of time about the country that you are planning to work for.</span></p>
<p>– <span style="font-weight: 400;">Embrace the local culture.</span></p>
<p>– <span style="font-weight: 400;">Learn about the local law and you have to follow it.</span></p>
<p>– <b>Always save money</b><span style="font-weight: 400;"> once you’ve got the job.</span></p>
<h2><b>If you had to do it all over again, would you go back abroad?</b></h2>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Definitely! Working abroad means I’m going on the right track and I’m on the path to a greener pasture.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">I needed to verify my documents in order to get a Nursing License in Qatar.
