How to become a Nurse in Dubai
<div class="is-layout-flow wp-block-group"><div class="wp-block-group__inner-container"> <p class="p1"><span class="s1">First things first, as Stephen Covey said in his book The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People. Be ready with your <a href="https://www.doh.gov.ae/en/pqr" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">documents</a> when you want to become a nurse in Dubai. Your documents are like the building blocks for your career as a nurse in Dubai. Like most other employers, they would need your transcript of records, your Diplomas for both High School and Nursing, Certificates of Employment, your PRC license (if your license is about to expire, you might run into issues like this girl <a href="http://allnurses.com/nurse-registration/a-guide-in-834594.html"><span class="s2">did</span></a>), a Good Standing Certificate issued by the Health Regulation Department, a copy of the relevant pages of your passport, and one colored passport size photo. For the last two, I find it a good practice to have several copies, as they will be needed by several agencies. Some agencies and/or employers might also ask you for your marriage certificate or a certificate of no marriage, in case you are single. Another good document to have on hand is your NSO certified birth certificate, just in case you lost your passport and if some employers require it. These documents would need to be clearly scanned. Red Ribbons or attestations are not required but there are some employers who would ask for them, so better have them ready just in case.</span></p> <p class="p1"><span class="s1">Next you will need to pass the <a href="https://services.dha.gov.ae/sheryan/wps/portal/home/!ut/p/z1/dYzLCsIwFES_JtvcS4Qi7qIL6wOCC2m9G0klpsWYlDQa8OsNuBL07GY4M0DQAnn9HKxOQ_DalXyi6iw29boWK1SqEhIPankUYiexAA0QUFHwDxJhC2Rd6D5v0nezuQWK5mqiifwRS92nNE4LhgxzztyGYJ3hl3Bn-GvShylB-23CePOvvWnkG6VKbK0!/dz/d5/L2dBISEvZ0FBIS9nQSEh/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"><span class="s2">Sheryan</span></a>. It&#8217;s just like online PRC. The Dubai Health Authority has made a simple flowchart on it&#8217;s webpage on how to get a license. Here&#8217;s a screenshot:</span></p> <div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter"><img decoding="async" loading="lazy" width="712" height="531" src="https://production-prod-trueprofile-blogassets-origin.s3.ap-southeast-1.amazonaws.com/uploads/2016/08/process-map.jpg" alt="process-map" class="wp-image-3290" srcset="https://admin-blog.trueprofile.io/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/process-map.jpg 712w, https://admin-blog.trueprofile.io/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/process-map-300x224.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 712px) 100vw, 712px" /></figure></div> <p class="p1"><span class="s1">You will have one year to look for an employer from the date of issuance of your license.</span></p> <p class="p1"><span class="s1">Get an employer. You can try applying directly online or go through legitimate agencies in the Philippines. Remember, Google is your friend. Just remember to be wary of anything you read and double-check your sources. The comments section on a website is also a goldmine of information. Once you have that employment contract signed, sealed, and delivered, your employer will now stand as your sponsor by processing your visa application.</span></p> <p class="p1"><span class="s1">Next step is getting your Health Card from the Department of Health and Medical Services. It&#8217;s kind of like a Municipal Health Card here, but with added insurance benefits. Here is where that extra copy of your passport pages and the pictures will come in. You must have with you a clean bill of health from medical facility. This is done before you can get your labor card and your residence visa.</span></p> <p class="p1"><span class="s1">Get a Labor Card from the Ministry of Labor office. You would need a copy of your employer&#8217;s own Labor Card as well as your employment contract, and yes, pictures.</span></p> <p class="p1"><span class="s1">Finally, you can now move on to getting that residence visa. If all your and your employer&#8217;s documents are in order, you can now enjoy your new status as an employed nurse in Dubai.</span></p> <figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img decoding="async" loading="lazy" width="1000" height="556" src="https://production-prod-trueprofile-blogassets-origin.s3.ap-southeast-1.amazonaws.com/uploads/2021/03/BANNER-How-to-become-a-Nurse-in-Dubai.jpg" alt="" class="wp-image-9333" srcset="https://production-prod-trueprofile-blogassets-origin.s3.ap-southeast-1.amazonaws.com/uploads/2021/03/BANNER-How-to-become-a-Nurse-in-Dubai.jpg 1000w, https://production-prod-trueprofile-blogassets-origin.s3.ap-southeast-1.amazonaws.com/uploads/2021/03/BANNER-How-to-become-a-Nurse-in-Dubai-300x167.jpg 300w, https://production-prod-trueprofile-blogassets-origin.s3.ap-southeast-1.amazonaws.com/uploads/2021/03/BANNER-How-to-become-a-Nurse-in-Dubai-768x427.jpg 768w" sizes="(max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px" /></figure> <h4>Fast track your application by verifying your documents with TrueProfile.io.</h4> <div class="is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons"> <div class="wp-block-button"><a class="wp-block-button__link has-text-color has-background" href="https://member.trueprofile.io/verify" style="border-radius:50px;background-color:#00497a;color:#f5f5f5" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Verify your documents</a></div> </div> <p class="p1"><em><span class="s1">Pictures attribution <a href="https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/2.0/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"><span class="s2">CC by 2.0</span></a></span></em></p> <p class="p1"><em><span class="s1">flickr.com/waltstoneburner/</span></em></p> </div></div>
