People who have never heard of DataFlow will have a hard time wrapping their head about what it is and what it entails. Just to give you a brief heads up, you need to get your Primary Source Verification (PSV) Report for your documents from DataFlow if you want to get a job overseas, particularly for the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries. Getting your PSV Report from TrueProfile.io (powered by DataFlow) is actually super easy, just lengthy. Here is a step-by-step picture guide to help you.
Create an account at TrueProfile.io.
On the website itself, click on log in. It’s on the upper right-hand corner. You will get taken to a new page and you need to click on “Create an account here.”
You will be prompted to enter your name and email address, agree to the terms and conditions and prove you are not a robot, too. Be mindful that the email you should use is your permanent one. DataFlow primarily contacts you via email, so make sure to check it. Your email is also where we send out information for password resets and the like. Once you’ve clicked “Register,” it will send you an email that looks like this:
Click the “Complete registration” button and it will take you to our page where you will need to create a password. As usual, the password should have a capital letter, a number, and a special dance, I mean special character. The window that the email takes you to will look like this:
Type the password twice and the “Set password” button should now be clickable. If it’s not, your password does not meet the guidelines. Remember it needs a capital letter, a number, and a special character. After you’ve clicked on Set password, you will receive an email like this:
Click on the “Go to my Verification Centre” box and you will get a new window with the TrueProfile page. Log on with your email and the password that you set up earlier. The Verification Centre will look like this:
You will see near the middle right corner the option “myTrueProfile,” click it to get to this page:
Once you click the “Edit your personal data now”, you’ll get this new page:
This is the part that many people miss. They download the Letter of Authorization (LOA) but forget to print, sign, and upload the LOA. IF you get an email from DataFlow saying we need you to upload the Letter of Authorization, this is what they’re talking about. You can log back in anytime, and on the dashboard, choose “Personal data,” and click “Upload Signed Letter of Authorization.” As stated on the page, “The verification will not start before this data has been provided.”
Once you have successfully uploaded the signed LOA, the page should look like this:
This is the page you’ll get to once you’ve clicked on that “Done” button.
This is the Personal Information tab. Enter your personal information, and upload any documents that are relevant like Name Change certification – that is, if you’ve had a name change, no sense in uploading that if your name is the same as when you were born. When you click that “Done” button, you’ll get to this page:
Type in your real date of birth, not the one you tell your friends. The next window will ask you to upload your picture (white background) and a copy of your passport – the one that shows your name and signature, of course.
If your country has a National ID card, SSN, or UMID, upload it as well. It’s not a required upload, though. Take note that you can upload MS Office files and image files. Upload the clearest possible copy of your documents. That’s actually the most important thing as it’s kind of hard to verify a document that you can’t read. The next window is for your phone number and address. You can include in the “Landmark” field notes if your house is hard to find. Once you’ve clicked “Done”, you’ll go back to the Verification Centre.
Choose a Bundle or a Single Document Verification
The bundle that you choose will depend on what your profession is. Click on the arrow down button to check what is included in the bundle. Once you’ve chosen, you’ll be taken to the payment screen. You can choose to pay via credit card, debit card, or PayPal. Once your payment is done, you’ll get to this page:
Upload your Documents
Depending on the bundle you chose, the Verification Centre will now look different. If you chose just a single document to purchase, only one box with the button “Complete your documents” will appear. The uploading and data-entry processes will all look the same. Let’s do the Educational Qualification one as an example.
For your education component, fill up the information for your College/University, or what we will now refer to as Issuing Authority. It’s not your name and details that we’re asking for, it’s the name of the Issuing Authority. Click on the button “STEP 1 DONE” once you are.
First, upload your Diploma (including the backside) and your Mark Sheet/Transcript of Records. If you have any training certificates like for your Basic Life Support (BLS), you can upload it here. And if you are a Specialist, include your specialist education. Some regulators need internship certificates, so if you have it, upload it. You can upload a maximum of three employers for the $439.00 bundle. If you’ve only had one employer for the past three years, no need to upload more than that. Once you’ve clicked on the “STEP 6 DONE” button, you’ll come back to the verification Centre. The “Complete your documents” button will now show a “Transfer your data” button. You must click that button, or you’ll be waiting forever because your verification will not start. This will take you to the Data Transfer page.
Click on the “Yes, transfer my data now” button once you’re done. It’s important to transfer the data for each box, otherwise, it will not get verified.
Don’t get confused between Health License and Good Standing Certificate
What the regulators need is your license to practice nursing, to practice as a healthcare professional, or practice medicine, or as a specialist. It’s not the certificate that you are healthy. The license should be valid and current. As opposed to expired. That would give you a negative report. Ensure that your license is not up for renewal within the year.
The Issuing Authority is the name of the institution who issued your license. They may also be the ones who issued you your Good Standing Certificate (GSC). Those are two totally different documents and should not be confused. Your GSC can also come from your last employer.
Finally, the last page is for uploading any documents that you want to include that will help us verify your documents. This in itself will not be subject to verification. The boxes should now look like this:
This means that you’re done! Congratulations, yay! The boxes will show you how many days before you can expect to have your PSV Report.
Transfer Your Report
Finally, you’ll have your PSV Report after about 35 days. Once you have received an email that your PSV Report is ready, you can log back in and download it. You would also need to transfer your report to the regulator of your choice accordingly. Well done!
