Five Things to Love about Singapore
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Singapore is our idea of a utopian country. Its’ trains are functioning like clockwork, the health care is first-world, and the government is pretty efficient. It may come off as a far-too-controlled city as a result, but it’s a wild ride on the safe side. </span></p> <h2><span style="font-weight: 400;">See why we&nbsp;love this Lion City.</span></h2> <div class="wp-block-image wp-image-4361 size-large"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img decoding="async" loading="lazy" width="1024" height="682" src="https://production-prod-trueprofile-blogassets-origin.s3.ap-southeast-1.amazonaws.com/uploads/2021/03/Sentosa.jpg" alt="Five Things to Love about Singapore" class="wp-image-9525" title="Five Things to Love about Singapore" srcset="https://production-prod-trueprofile-blogassets-origin.s3.ap-southeast-1.amazonaws.com/uploads/2021/03/Sentosa.jpg 1024w, https://production-prod-trueprofile-blogassets-origin.s3.ap-southeast-1.amazonaws.com/uploads/2021/03/Sentosa-300x200.jpg 300w, https://production-prod-trueprofile-blogassets-origin.s3.ap-southeast-1.amazonaws.com/uploads/2021/03/Sentosa-768x512.jpg 768w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption>There are beaches in Singapore.</figcaption></figure></div> <ul><li><span style="font-weight: 400;"><strong>Geography.</strong> Singapore, for all that it’s known as a small island, is actually comprised of 63 islands! You have a lot of choices when it comes to travelling in this country. You can call it the </span><a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Little_red_dot" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Little Red Dot</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400;"> that could.</span></li><li><span style="font-weight: 400;"><strong>Politics</strong>. It’s also one of the least corrupt country in the world. The city state has consistently placed inside the top ten of the Corruption Perceptions Index as published by Transparency International.</span></li><li><span style="font-weight: 400;"><strong>Culture</strong>. Experience a lot of different cultures within a small area. They have their own Chinatown, a Little India, and even Filipinos make their presence felt. The blend of believers in &nbsp;Buddhism, Christianity, and Islam in the populace means that they celebrate&nbsp;the holidays as well.</span></li><li><span style="font-weight: 400;"><strong>The safest street food.</strong> The Lion City is ferocious when it comes to </span><a href="http://www.nea.gov.sg/public-health/food-hygiene" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"><span style="font-weight: 400;">food safety</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400;">. Their street food hawker stalls are graded from A (the highest) to D (the lowest) to provide consumers a more informed decision when it comes to the stalls’ housekeeping, food hygiene, and even the personnels’ hygiene. They even get points demerit should they fall off the wagon. Demerits ultimately result in <a href="http://www.nea.gov.sg/public-health/food-hygiene" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">suspension</a>.&nbsp;</span><br> <h4><strong>Entertainment</strong></h4> <ul><li> <ul><li><span style="font-weight: 400;">If theme parks get your blood flowing, Singapore will be your idea of heaven. The line-up for 2017 will surely&nbsp;empty your pockets with the exciting list of artists that they have coming.</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Eventstravaganza galore.
